POS software built for pharmacies and chemists
Track every batch and expiry date, sell by tablet or strip, and know your stock before a customer asks.
Running a pharmacy without tight stock control means expired medicines on the shelf, stock running out at the worst moment, and no trace record if a supplier dispute comes up. Most generic POS systems cannot track batch numbers, expiry dates, or sell one item in multiple pack sizes.
Everything pharmacies and chemists need, in one system.
Expiry dates on every item
Record the expiry date when stock arrives. The expiry report shows you what runs out next month before it is too late to act.
Batch numbers
Every batch (lot) number is recorded when stock arrives, and each sale records which batch it came from, so a recalled batch can be traced.
Sell by tablet, strip or box
One stock item, several selling units. Sell loose tablets, strips and full boxes from the same quantity — the system converts automatically.
Credit accounts for clinics
Set a credit limit for hospital and clinic accounts, track outstanding balances, and generate a statement on demand.
Low-stock alerts
Set a reorder point on each drug. The system flags it when stock falls below that level so you can order before you run out.
Barcode checkout
Scan any barcode and the item, price and unit come up instantly. Works with standard 2D and 1D barcode scanners.
Staff logins and permissions
Each staff member signs in with their own login. Set who can give discounts, edit prices, or see profit reports.
Daily sales and profit reports
See which drugs sold today, which are slow movers, and what your profit margin is — without a spreadsheet.
Questions about TechFusion for pharmacies and chemists.
Can it track medicine expiry dates?
Yes. You record the expiry date on every purchase, and the expiry report lists everything that expires within the period you choose so you can remove or return it before the date.
Can I sell by tablet, strip and box from the same stock?
Yes. Set up a product with sub-units — for example, one box of 100 tablets contains 10 strips of 10. Sell any unit and the stock count adjusts across all three automatically.
Does it work for a small chemist with one till?
Yes. The starter plan is built for a single-till business. You can add more tills and branches as you grow without changing the system.
Can I run credit accounts for clinics and hospitals?
Yes. Set a credit limit, sell on account, and the system tracks the outstanding balance. Print a statement whenever the account needs to pay.
Does it integrate with KRA eTIMS?
Yes. TechFusion includes a KRA eTIMS integration for signing invoices. It is switched on for each business once the KRA activation steps are complete — contact us on WhatsApp to get started.
