The stock report and stock value

Open Reports › Stock Report, or Products › List Products › Stock Report tab.

What it shows

For each product (and variation):

• Current stock per location;
• Current stock value at purchase price and at selling price, and the potential profit;
• Total units sold, transferred and adjusted.

The totals at the top give the value of all your stock, which is useful for insurance, loans and stock takes.

Useful filters

• Location: one shop at a time.
• Category, Sub category, Brand, Unit.
• Only low stock (if available), or sort by stock to see what's running out.

Tip: For a stock take, export the report to Excel (Export Excel), count each item, then record the differences with a Stock Adjustment.
