Printing after a sale

Whether the receipt prints by itself is set per location: Settings › Business Locations › Edit › Auto print invoice after finalizing.

The Receipt Printer Type for the location decides how it prints:

• Browser Based Printing opens your browser's print window, where you choose the printer (thermal or normal). This is the simplest option and works with most printers.
• Use Configured Receipt Printer sends the receipt to a network printer set up under Settings › Receipt Printers.

Reprinting an old receipt

• From the POS: Recent Transactions › Print.
• From any list: Sell › All sales › Actions › Print Invoice.

Sharing a receipt digitally

Actions › Invoice URL gives a link to the invoice that you can send by WhatsApp or SMS. From the mobile app you can also share the receipt as a PDF. See Receipt printers in the app.

Changing what the receipt shows

Your logo, business details, footer text, tax details, and whether to show the customer, payment info or barcode are set in an invoice layout: Settings › Invoice Settings › Invoice Layouts. Each location chooses which layout to use for POS and for normal sales. See Invoice numbers and layouts.

Tip: For 58 mm or 80 mm thermal printers, choose the Slim design in the invoice layout. It fits narrow paper.
